Isaac Copeland
SF, 6-8, 190
Brewster Academy (NH)
Committed to Georgetown
HoopHall Classic 2014 (Springfield, MA): The Georgetown commit showcased a developing perimeter game to compliment his elite athleticism. 27 points and 11 rebounds vs. Wilbraham & Monson, and his improvement since the Big Strick Classic was impressive—confidence stepping into his shot, rebounded through traffic, and played at a comfortable pace. If his skills—and more importantly, his body—continue to develop, he’s an elite small forward prospect.
Big Strick Classic 2013 (New York, NY): Copeland is a long swingman with the physical tools to be a terrific two-way player. He’s still early in his development, but if he does improve, his length and touch can make him a primary scoring option at Georgetown.
At 6-8, he has good form and a high release point. He has vertical bounce and covers ground quickly on defense. Copeland is lanky and will need to fill out his frame, but he has a soft touch, excellent finishing ability, and an athletic frame. Isaac is only starting to come into his own, and has the frame and tools to be a great player one day.
