Jae’Sean Tate
SF, 6-5, 190
Pickerington Central (OH)

Committed to Ohio State

Nike Global Challenge 2013 (Washington D.C.): Tate excels as a slasher and alley-oop threat, with good scoring instincts to move without the ball and get in a position to score. His best showing came Friday vs. USA South, recording 25 points and 10 rebounds. Between Tate and D’Angelo Russell, Ohio State should have a terrific backcourt in 2014.

Nike Peach Jam 2013 (North Augusta, SC): Versatile player with great toughness, motor and athleticism. Tate is a nice addition to any fast-paced team; he’s a great slasher and alley-oop threat, and can rebound in traffic. He once played power forward, but he’s developing his handle to step outside on the perimeter. If he continues to develop his handle, he’ll become one of the elite drivers in the class.
